Note to all Stakeholders and Citizens
Consultation on “RFP STANDARDIZATION” “Preparation of Model Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Toolkit and Guidance Notes for preparation of RFPs for e–Governance Projects”.

Department of Information Technology (DIT), Government of India has taken up an initiative to formulate model Requests for Proposals (RFPs), along with guidance notes and toolkits for preparing them, to be used by Line Departments and State Governments to procure goods, consultancy services, works and managed services for e-Governance projects.

This RFP Standardization work has been awarded after a bid process to M/s. Accenture, who have submitted an Approach Paper inter alia presenting an overview of each of the issues involved in the standardization exercise, inferences from relevant domestic and international practices, alternative courses of action for standardization, methodology suggested and the decision points (Chapter 4 of the Approach Paper refers).

DIT invites inputs, feedback and comments on the Approach Paper. The inputs, feedback or comments may kindly be forwarded by September 16, 2011 by e-mail to the following e-mail Ids:
