There have been a number of incentives taken during the year to motivate and facilitate IT & ITES sector to shift focus to other Geographies. A study has been initiated to identify a roadmap to spread outreach to other geographies.

During the years the following international projects has been initiated/completed:

  • India– Kazakhstan Centre of Excellence in ICT at Astana, Kazakhstan
  • Indo-Ghana Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence for Communications and Information Technology (CoEICT) at Accra, Ghana
  • Centre of Excellence for Communications and Information Technology (CoEICT) at Dar-es-Sallam, Tanzania
  • India-Seychelles Centre of Excellence in ICT (ISCEICT) at Mahe, Victoria
  • India-Lesotho Centre of Excellence in ICT (ISCEICT) at Maseru, Lesotho
  • India-Vietnam Advanced Resource Centre in ICT (ARC-ICT) at Hanoi
  • Centre of Excellence in High Performance Computing at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST)
  • Atal Bihari Vajpaye Centre of Excellence at Ulaan Baatar, Mangolia
  • Setting up of a Sustainable IT Infrastructure for IT Training in CLMV/ASEAN
  • Jawaharlal Nehuru India Uzbekistan Centre for Information technology (JNIUCIT) at Tashkent, Uzbekistan
  • Up-gradation of India-Uzbekistan Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Information Technology.
  • Bedil India Tajik Centre of Information Technology at Dushanbe, Tajikistan
  • Setting up a Centre of Excellence in IT at Eurasian National University, Astana, Kazakhstan
  • South Asia Sub-regional Economic Cooperation Information Highway (IH) Project (SASEC)
  • Strengthening of India-Myanmar Centre for Enhancement of IT Skill at Yangon
  • Language Labs and E-resource Centre in Nay pyi Taw and Yangon in Myanmar
  • India-Armenia Centre of Excellence in IT at Yerevan, Armenia
  • Setting up of Telemedicine Network in Armenia
  • India-Belarus Digital learning centre (DLC-ICT) in ICT at High Technology Park in Minsk
  • India-Turkmenistan IT Centre at Ashgabat
  • Central Asia E-network to connect Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan.
  • E-Library in Bhutan
  • Setting up Center of Excellence in IT in Pacific Island Countries (CEIT)
